Small Businesses across Ontario are feeling the pressures of the pandemic.
From operating on limited hours to the added expense of Personal Protective Equipment, small businesses are losing out on revenue and being forced to share profits with third party operators to even attempt to compete with big box stores.
Thankfully the Canadian Government is once again offering their support.
This time they are offering two different grants; the Ontario Small Business Support Grant and Ontario’s Main Street Relief Grant, along with a property tax and energy cost rebate.
The Ontario Small Business Support Grant is meant for helping small businesses that are required to close or significantly restrict services under the Provincewide Shutdown effective December 26, 2020.
Ontario’s Main Street Relief Grant is for Small Businesses with 2 – 9 employees. They can get up to $1000 to help them cover further unexpected PPE costs.
All Small Businesses that are eligible for the Ontario Small Business Support Grant are also eligible for the property tax and energy cost rebate!
